Reality Fitness Grand Opening

The Reality Fitness Grand Opening was a great success. A good time was had by all.

My favorite complement came from former owner Nicki Anderson and her husband Bill. They said the new lighting gave the place a completely different “vibe.” They really liked the motivational sayings on each step as you climb to the studio.

We had plenty of positive comments on the new chalkboard wall and many of the guests took advantage of it by writing their own thoughts, well wishes and motivations. We received a lot of “wows” on some of the color choices and the Heavy Metal Room.

We were honored by the attendance of Mayor George Pradel who is always a great supporter. The Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce Interim President & CEO, Tami Andrew was the MC for the actual ribbon cutting.

Some of the chamber staff we saw there were Rachel Grundner, Susan Crotty, Sharon Meyerhoff, Ali Claudon, Kara Carpenter and others. Tom Alhoff, the Lisle Chamber of commerce President was also in attendance. Too numerous to mention were all the Naperville Chamber Ambassadors.

There were plenty of healthy food offerings. We had some fantastic dark chocolate supplied by Le Chocolat. Fiamme, one of the newest restaurants in town, provided some fabulous brick oven pizzas that disappeared almost as soon as they arrived. Whole Foods was there with a healthy tray of vegetables and some very unusual vegetable “sushi” that was quickly gobbled up.

Loads of current and past clients attended. One of the past clients was curious to see the changes that had transpired and actually set up an appointment to get their training back on track.

All the trainers were there discussing the changes and their special techniques and skills with the guests. Plenty of family and friends attended. We had two friends drive all the way from Iowa to attend that evening.

That was the whole point of the grand opening and the makeover.We wanted to build on the great legacy of Reality Fitness and make it stronger and better for each and every client. Come on in and see for yourself.
